Gertrude Harkness Obituary

Mary Gertrude Harkness passed away peacefully on August 4, 2014 at the KinVillage home in Tsawwassen, BC at the wonderful age of 98. She is predeceased by her husband Alex (1991) and is survived by two sons Bob (Cathie) and David (Barbara), seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and would spend her whole days outdoors tending to her flowers, plants and gardens.

Please join us in a celebration of life for Gertie, a wonderful mom, grandmother, sister, friend. Memorial will be held at the KinVillage West Court, 5410 10th Avenue, Tsawwassen, BC, Adult Daycare Room on Saturday, August 16, 2014, 2 - 4 PM.

You will be missed... the quirky movements, blinking eyes & happy persona made you unique and special. As often seems to be the case, we never seem to feel we said enough times how much we appreciated & loved you.
I will remember you whenever I brush my teeth and think of that phrase "You have nice teeth!"
