After 24 years and after one year that we sadly miss you, Dear Norm, something very special happened and our circle completed in a very special way I/we never would have expected: For the 2nd time we made our way to Vancouver, March 2015, and we have got the chance to meet and get to know your beloved wife, Kathleen - sadly and hard not with you at her side. But so much more heartwarming and tears up bringing for the "strangers" that we had been until that day.
Dear Kathleen, I/we have to thank you so very much for getting in touch, inviting us to your home, letting us into you life and becoming my/our new penpal! I/we cant describe how much that means to me/us!
Yours always!

After 23 years we lost our true and wonderful penfriend. Over all these years, within we sadly never met again in person, he never got tired to write the most beautiful and lovely cards we ever received and appreciated so much. Now that we have been so close to a reunion as never before it is hard to accept that we are to late. We can only take comfort in the awareness that there is no place we could have been closer to one another than we anyway already always had been over all those years: in one anothers hearts. And therein we´ll keep him forever as a treasure.
