Peter Stimpson Obituary
Father, grandfather, brother, and friend - Peter checked out (cardiac arrest) on Wednesday, October 8th.
A gentle, shy, and humble man with a wry sense of humor, Peter is survived by his two daughters, Zoey and Abbey, and four grandchildren, Frankie, Jude, Sienna, and Sequoia. He is predeceased by his son, Josh.
With a BA in Architecture from Stanford University, Peter built and renovated hundreds of homes in Deep Cove and beyond. He had a remarkable gift for creating warm, welcoming spaces full of light and character. Humorous and a bit accident-prone, Peter was a beloved fixture in the Cove community for over fifty years.
Having lived with Parkinson's disease for several years, his quick exit was a sorrow-filled blessing. We'll miss him immensely and give thanks for having known such a kind, wonder-filled human being - brilliant at staying anchored to simplicity.
A farewell celebration of life will be held at the Deep Cove Yacht Club on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 5–8pm.
