Robert BOOTH Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a long time North Vancouver resident and our Dad, Bob Booth, at Lions Gate Hospital. Feisty & independent, Bob left this earth to join his Lord, beloved wife Bette and son Gregg after a great long, healthy and fruitful life. He died like he lived, with laughter and dignity right till the end. He will be missed by his daughters Leanne Roy [Frank], Carol Konkin [Rick] and granddaughters Natalie Konkin [Sandy] and Danielle Booth [Dustin]. Bob was an incredible man who designed, built and lived in his own home in North Vancouver since 1951 and was proud to see it listed on the historical registry in North Vancouver. He enjoyed a long career as an architectural draftsman in Vancouver working for Gardiner & Thornton. Bob was recognized by the NV City Heritage Committee for his work leading the rebuild of the #153 streetcar. He was an avid model railroader and loved walking with his dog. As a member and active volunteer of Highlands United Church since 1953, the memorial service will be held there Friday, October 30th, 2 pm.

I called him my Uncle Bob'!
Always even the last time I visited with him, he could still wiggle his ears on demand!

Loving memories forever held in my heart.

Thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as you remember your Dad and Grandpa
