I am So sorry to hear about the passing of Sophia. I met her in the NSSC about 3 years ago, and we frequently took the bus together, or shared a taxi home. We also attended many local wine tasting functions together. She had such a good spirit and zest for life, and an infectious laugh. Last I saw her about 3 weeks ago she was out walking her beloved dachshund Corky on the Norgate trail.I am so glad I stopped running to have a long chat with her then. We have lost a lovely lady. My sincere condolences to her family, especially to Tara..May she always be remembered for who she was, and how she liked to have fun!

Sophia joined the North Shore Social Club in the year it was formed (2008) and attended many events over the past 5 years. She especially loved to come to the potluck dinners - in fact I don't think she missed a single one! She would often come on the bus carrying her casserole all wrapped up in towels and ready to share. She was a very genuine person who was full of energy and loved good conversations and good wine. She will be very much missed by our group.

Oh I am beyond sorry to read this -we were classmates at D'Arcy McGee and graduated same year and then found each other again on Classmates then on Facebook - I had no idea dear Sophia that you were in this battle for your life. May you rest in eternal peace. My sympathy to Vera and Angie and the rest of the family.
