Terrence Bragg Obituary

Terry, affectionately known as TR, slipped away peacefully in his sleep on June 25, 2025, at the age of 94. To know Terry was to love him, a humble gentleman who lived a full and meaningful life.

After serving in the English Army, Terry married the love of his life, Maureen Kyne. In 1957, with little more than a box of tools, a sewing machine, and great hope, they immigrated to Canada aboard the Empress of England, beginning a lifelong adventure together. Terry worked tirelessly to build a life for his family, from early jobs in Toronto to working on the CF-105 Avro Arrow project, and later with Eastman Kodak, which brought them across Canada and eventually to North Vancouver.

On the West Coast, Terry embraced community, rugby, and the outdoors. A passionate fly fisher and conservationist, he devoted countless hours to protecting salmon habitat, mentoring young anglers, and teaching children to appreciate nature. His contributions were recognized with several awards, including the Hugh Monahan Memorial Award, the Coho Society Watershed Steward Award, and the City of North Vancouver Living City Award.

Terry was deeply devoted to Maureen, his wife of nearly 70 years, and cherished "his girls," Vanessa and Ursula, along with his grandchildren Matthew, Ethan, and Sarah, extended family, and many dear friends. Known for his infectious laugh, love of rugby, good food, and family gatherings, Terry leaves a legacy of kindness, resilience, and quiet strength.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
