KROPP, Alice: 1937 - 2022 Alice Kropp, of Kelowna, BC, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2022, at the age of 84. Born to the late Anton & Berta Heise in Somsiory, West Prussia (Waldeck in German Times), Alice and her family left Somsiory in early 1946; they ended up in Germany's Rechtern area, and Alice went to school in the city of Barnstorf. In 1955, she left Germany for Canada. A year later, she married Albert Kropp, and they lived in Vernon, BC for a few years. They then moved to Kamloops, BC, where they raised their children and then Alice & Albert retired to Kelowna, BC. Kelowna is also where all of Alice's siblings are. A busy lady, Alice was regularly involved with her church community, as well as with the German Club. She loved the YMCA, where she went to exercise 6 times a week. And, she really enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Alice, who was generous, determined, caring, and hardworking, is going to be deeply missed. She leaves to this world her beloved family: her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Daryl Aiken; her son, Andrew Kropp; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica (Shane), Saidy, James, and Myles; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Hailey; as well as her siblings, Lilli, Lydia, Alwin, Erika, Herbert, and Rosi; and her brothers- & sisters-in-law Reinhold, Brenda, Jack, Judi, and Paul. In 2017, Albert passed away, and we are sure he was waiting with open arms to welcome Alice home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting
