BECKER, Chad Philip: November 27, 1971 - April 10, 2016. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Chad Philip Becker on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 in Sooke, B.C. Chad was born on November 27th, 1971 in Kamloops, B.C. to parents Ellie LaBrash and Gerald Becker. He grew up surrounded by family and friends in Penticton, B.C. and graduated from Pen-Hi in 1989. Chad then spent much of his adult life in Victoria, B.C. Chad was a devoted and loving father whose passion for fishing, the outdoors and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks will live on through his son Max. Left to remember Chad are his son Max and wife Dominique, father Gerald Becker and stepmother Judith McEwen, mother-in-law Heather Tufts, brother Tyson Becker, sister-in-law Ramona and family, and step-sisters Tracey (Lauri), Devon and Ashley, nieces Leighton, London, Lila and Ellie along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Ellie LaBrash. A celebration of Chad's life with be held on Sunday, April 17th, 2016 from 2-5pm at the Naramata Heritage Inn, 3625 1st St Naramata, B.C.
