Charlotte DAVIS Obituary
DAVIS, Charlotte Winnifred (nee Corbitt): born June 8th, 1926 passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015 while surrounded by many of her family at Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton B.C. Charlotte was the oldest daughter of Harold and Carolyn Corbitt, one of the founding fathers of Kaleden. She is survived by her five children - Randy, Catherine (Taffy) and her partner Mark, Geraldine (Gerry), John and Carolyn and her husband Glenn. She loved her nine grandchildren dearly - Jeremy, Joe, Lindsay, Kristi, Tyler, Jamie, Samantha, Carly and Jessica. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Mervin and her sister Jane. A celebration of her wonderful 89 years will be held at Linden Gardens, 351 Linden Ave., Kaleden, BC on Oct 24th, 2015 at 2:00pm. Simple words are not enough to thank the amazing staff at Haven Hill for all the love they showered on our mother during her last years. On behalf of the Raitt family, Michael and George, Pauline, Andrew, and Megan, would like to send our deepest condolences. We have many fond memories of the Davis family and Mrs. Davis was one of our favorite people. We remember spending a month, in 1974, at the Davis house in Lima, Peru. Mr. and Mrs. Davis were dear friends of our mother and father.
