Dear Judy;
Please accept our sincere condolences. When Chris and you moved in our neighborhood in Fredericton, you brought sunshine in our lives. It was the beginning of a great and enduring friendship between our two couples. We shared many good times and many laughter. Chris was doing his best to practice his knowledge of French with me and in return I affectionally nicknamed him GASTON. The cancer and the pandemic prevented us from being re-united one more time. We are shocked to hear of his passing. I said it before and I'll say it one more time; you were a great couple and we love you very much. It is hard to say adieu Gaston and thank you for the memories. Rest in peace.

Always a sweetheart! Sending condolences to all who are missing him. I only saw him at PW reunions ( this photo is from our 50th) but it was always a treat to get my “Chris fix” of his good humour and all round goodness. Proud to have known him.

My deepest condolences. I was in school with Chris from grades 1 to 12. His cheerfulness is what I remember most about him, also his cheekiness. He was friendly to everyone and very well liked by classmates and teachers. The picture is Chris in grade 2, he is seated at the left.

I remember Chris from virtually Grade One at Trafalgar Elementary and Prince of Wales HS. Have only seen Chris at some of our PW Grad Reunions in the past years and always regretted we had not stayed in closer touch. RIP my childhood friend.

We are very saddened to hear of your loss Judy. I remember Chris as such a fun boss at Woodward’s, and I appreciated chatting with Chris during our coffee breaks. Our thoughts are with your family.

Dear Judy, As you know, Chris and I go back to year one, from Little league in the fifties to golfing at Pebble Beach in the eighties. The MacKay household was like a second home to us when growing up. He was a great friend and a wonderful cousin. I shall miss him dearly. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Hello Judy and Family, First of all my condolences to both you and your family. Chris was certainly larger than life in many ways. We will all miss Chris and his wonderful smile. I not only worked at Woodwards with Chris but we also graduated together at Prince of Wales High School.
I am deeply honoured that you chose my photo for the obituary. It was taken on June 5th, 2014 at our fiftieth class reunion.

What a wonderful picture of Chris. He looks happy and content. I have always loved the pearl white hair that our Nana had too! My thoughts are with you Judy.

We have lost a very dear friend. The four of us shared countless laughs and good times together these past many years. All the great conversations we shared around the dinner table, sitting on the patio enjoying a glass of wine or when we travelled together, it was great fun. Always dapper and quick with a retort, we will miss Chris sorely.

Chris was a wonderful brother in law whose company and humour I always appreciated. The time we were able to share with him as a family was cherished. He will be missed. Libbie MacKay

I’m very sad to read this, Chris was a friend and yes golf was our path together but our relationship was more than a game. We talked about many things and I’ll miss those conversations. I’ll see you again my friend and the next time I’ll give 2 aside and I’ll give you the money once again, you would expect that. Lost but never forgotten
