Clayton GARLAND Obituary

GARLAND, Clayton "Al": Passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 91. He leaves behind, his wife of many years, Norma. Al worked for CP Rail for many years. Al loved to fly and had his pilot's license. Al & Norma loved to travel and spent many winters in Palm Springs. Al studied and became a Tax Consultant. He was an avid golfer. He will be missed. No Service will be held at his request.

I remember you and Norma at my grandfathers funeral and I hope Al and my father frank Garland are catching up on things. I was the third child of Frank Garland. My name is Beverly Garland and my married name is Sauer. I work here in Toronto, Ontario for the T.T.C. I always wanted to talk about the family history or at least say hi. It sounds like you people had a wonderful life together and I remember how my father always wanted to learn to fly. I did get to know you people a little with these pictures and words.. I was aware of Al in Kelowna through the computer and wondered about a quick visit, but was in a accident and I am still healing. Sorry to hear that Al had a lengthy illness, but I'm sure he would want Norma and his friends to remember all the good times.
