I was so sad to read of Derrick's passing. I will always remember the great years Derrick and I served on the Board of Penticton Minor Baseball and BC Babe Ruth. It was a pleasure to have known Derrick and watch the passion he had for the game. My thoughts and prayers go out to Denise and his family.

My condolences to your family. The man I new was a very proud man. Proud of his family, accomplishments and work. I will always remember the conversations we had in the office after being diagnosed. Derrick always remained optimistic and positive I admire Derrick for the love he had for you and the boys. His professional work ethic and his bravery during the past 13 years. May he rest in peace
