Donald NYBO Obituary

NYBO, Donald Robert: Nov 4, 1928 - Mar 30, 2016. With heavy hearts, we say farewell to Donald Robert Nybo (1928-2016). Don passed away quietly at Westview Extended Care Home in Penticton on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016. His wife Denise, daughters, Darcy, DeVera and Darriel (Greg) and grandchildren, Miaka, Janai, Nicole, and Max will dearly miss him. He is survived by his siblings; Shirley Benallack, Thelma (Don) Grant, Harvey (Cheryl) Nybo; sister-in-law Darlene (Ernie Perry) Stevenson; and dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend thanks and appreciation to the staff at Westview, for the exceptional kindness and care over the years. Don will be remembered for his determined, if not obstinate, independence, his deep love for his family, his teasing ways, and his ability to live in the present, right to the very end. The family will honour Don's wish for no funeral services.
