Edward Glowa Obituary
Glowa, Edward James: June 21, 1939 - May 29, 2023 It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Edward James Glowa on May 29th 2023 at the age of 83. Ed was born and raised on the family farm in Alonsa, Manitoba. He is survived by his wife Judy of 60 years, son Kelly (Lauren) and granddaughters Kirsten (Brett), Paige and Morgan (Josh). Sisters Joyce, Lillian, brothers Barry (Julie) and Don (Kim). Ed spent most of his career in the trucking business. He moved from Manitoba to Penticton in 1992. He loved watching and playing hockey but his greatest love was to watch his son play hockey throughout the years. Ed was a man who loved to work hard and play hard until his cancers took his life. There will be no service by request. The family wishes to thank the nurses of Moog and Friends Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to Moog and Friends Hospice or the Charity of Your Choice. Condolences may be shared by visiting www.everdenrust.com

i had a great time back when me and ed where very young when i visited alonsa with my dad from portage.
