Eric Adams Obituary

Adams, Eric Herman: May 25, 1950 - January 24, 2026 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Herman Adams on January 24, 2026 at the age of 75. Eric was born on May 25, 1950 in Neilburg, Saskatchewan. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather a loving family man. He is survived by his wife, Vie; daughter, Elize (Lucien); grandson, Adam; siblings, Linda (Gilles), Jerry (Cathy), Elaine (Devon), Glen (Eileen), Debbie (Lorne), Rose (Heinz); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Emily Adams (nee Thibodeau); nephew, Lance McMartin; and cherished pets. Eric was well known for his passion for cars, especially hot rods. He turned his passion into a business by creating Adams Autobody, which he proudly owned for 30 years. When it came to building hot rods, Eric was a true artist. He was a master of his craft, as recognized by numerous awards and magazine articles. He enjoyed attending rod runs and car shows in Canada and the USA with fellow cruisers. Eric's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him. Eric's final car cruise will be held in April 2026 in Penticton, British Columbia and a Celebration of Life will be held in August 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta (specific dates for both events will be determined). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. Our family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton for their excellent care and heartfelt compassion.
