Gary Vincent SLESINGER

SLESINGER, Gary Vincent: September 6, 1941 - March 6, 2025. Born and raised in Kelowna, Gary passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Mountainview Village Complex Care in Kelowna, following a battle with dementia. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Carol Slesinger and his loving family - daughters Michelle (Kevin) Chisholm and Laurie (Rod) Barton and adoring grandchildren - Madison (Joshua) Donaldson, David Chisholm, Spencer Barton, Jacob (Laurel) Chisholm and Hannah Chisholm. He also will be remembered by his caring nieces, Marilee (Brian) Woinoski and Susie (Peter) Turgoose plus many wonderful great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Rudy Slesinger; mother, Mary Slesinger; brother-in-law and sister, Tim and Marj Hodgkinson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 11am at Guisachan House Restaurant - 1060 Cameron Ave., Kelowna, BC. The family wishes to thank Dr Ketch, Dr Koss, Chaplain Daryl Deklerk and all the staff at Mountainview Village for their compassionate care.
