Herb Jeffrey Obituary

Jeffrey, Herb: It is with great sadness that the family of Herb Jeffrey announce his passing in Kelowna, BC on October 9, 2025. Herb is survived by his daughter, Jacquie Jeffrey (Dean Casey), son, Gordon Jeffrey (Tracey Hawthorn) and his only much loved grandchild Lauren Jeffrey (Gage Malmberg). Herb was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Gay Jeffrey in May of 2025. Herb was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, moved to Prince Albert to play hockey, then played professionally in Nelson, Seattle, Vancouver and Saskatoon, where he lived for many years before moving to Kelowna, living there for the past 30 years. Herb will be deeply missed by all who knew him, a true gentleman on and off the ice. Herb's kindness, generosity and love for his family will never be forgotten. A celebration of life will be held in Kelowna at a later date.
