DESABRAIS, Jeannine: 1938 - 2022 We are sad to announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother, Jeannine Desabrais. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, March 29, 1938; passed away in Penticton, October 14, 2022. She will be sadly missed by her children, Louise (Heinz, predeceased 2016), Elaine (John), Bernie (Becky), Julie (Bud), Michael and Madeline (Jeff) as well as grandchildren, Mitchell, Emilie and Jocelyn. She was predeceased by husband Raymond in 2013; parents, Alphonse and Stella Philippe. A Memorial Mass will take place Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022-9:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 361 Wade Ave. W., Penticton. Special thanks to the nurses and care-aids at The Hamlets for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society or SOWINS.
