I am extremely saddened to hear of Joe's passing.
He was such an absolute "Ray of Sunshine" to be around!!

I met Joe about 7 years ago through the Pharmacy, where I work.
He would come in on Fridays, greet me with a glorious smile, and we would chit chat on like two old friends.

Joe was SPECIAL, and after seeing him, my day was always that much better!

It amazed me that Joe was such a bright shining light, despite the atrocities and horror he had endured during the war, especially the two years he spent in the concentration camp.
Somehow, Joe was able to turn darkness into light, everywhere he went.
Leaving everyone who crossed his path in a more lively and happier place.

In the last few years our visits were very limited because of his failing sight. I would see him at the Concorde from time to time and we would catch up.

I am truly grateful to have known Joe and call him a "friend"!
