WESTERBERG, John Ivor "Jack": January 16, 1934 - March 25, 2024 Jack "John Ivor" Westerberg, 90, of Kelowna, BC, passed away on March 25, 2024. Born on January 16, 1934, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Jack was known for his zest for life and his ability to seek out fun and adventure wherever he went. His love for skiing, golf, tennis, cars and politics created life long friendships and reflected his active and vibrant personality. Jack also cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, creating lasting memories with them. Jack is survived by his wife, Catherine Cole, sons, Lyndon (Jacqueline) and Eric (Diep), his daughter, Kirsten (Ted) and his grandchildren, Christian, Julia, Ryan, Hannah, Nicholas and Caroline. He was preceded in death by his son Kent and his ex-wife, Joyce. Jack obtained his LLB from the University of Saskatchewan, and went on to practice Law in Calgary (Lutz, Westerberg, O'Leary), Vancouver, Ottawa, and Whitehorse. He retired to Kelowna in 1998. A Celebration of Life is planned for July 2024 in Kelowna, BC, where family and friends will come together to honor and remember Jack's remarkable life.
