COBB, Josefa "Josephine": Josefa "Josephine" Cobb was born on March 13, 1936 to Neza and Janez Gricar in Goriska, Yugoslavia. Pre-deceased by her first husband Ivan Presker and oldest daughter Melena, as well as her "honey", second husband, Lloyd Cobb. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Maria Hertz (Bob), Valerie Presker (Hugh) and her son, John Presker (Elaine). Grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Hertz and special Grandson Mitch Gowing. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews and grandchildren in Slovenia. Josephine and Ivan Presker immigrated to Canada from Yugoslavia in 1956, making their way West from Ontario to the beautiful Okanagan-Similkameen in 1966. Working hard they raised their family in Osoyoos, with many friends and fond memories along the way. Mom was a gentle lady, kind, generous, funny and she truly treasured her family and friends. She loved her garden and especially her roses. Her favorite thing to do was cook and her roast dinners were the most famous! She enjoyed dancing and music and was an accomplished accordion player. Josephine was always super classy; she had a wonderful sense of humor and sure loved to laugh. A faithful soul who enjoyed being with her brothers and sisters at the local Kingdom Hall. Always a "princess", she will be fondly remembered. A memorial service will be held for Josephine Cobb at the Kingdom Hall, 30 Roy Avenue, Penticton, BC at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.
