Joyce Alice Labron

1921 - 2017

Labron, Joyce Alice (nee Stammers): It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Labron at Penticton Regional Hospital at 95 years of age. Joyce was born Clapham, England on October 15th, 1921. She grew up in Buckland and Reigate in the County of Surrey. She worked as a short hand typist during the war. Joyce met and married RCAF ground person Robert (Bob) Labron in January of 1945. Joyce arrived in Vancouver, Canada on March 30, 1946. She is survived by one daughter Terry Ann Ring (Vic), 4 grandchildren, Marleigh, Jeff (Stacey), Gerry (Girlie) and Darin (Gina) and 9 great grandchildren. Joyce and Bob enjoyed many years as snowbirds in Arizona. No service by request as the family will be holding a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
