TAIT, Lynn Arleen (nee Dronsfield) Sept. 13, 1942 - Oct. 31, 2025 Lynn lived a marvelously rich and creative life. She was born in Vancouver to Jim and Gladys Dronsfield. The family moved to Summerland in early 1950. Lynn attended local schools and graduated in Summerland before expanding her caring and nurturing love by taking nurses training and nursing in Vernon and Quesnel. She made lifelong friends and attended church where she found profound comfort. She found love, married Don Tait and raised her two children, Heather and Heath. Lynn was fond of growing her gardens of flowers and vegetables. She would decorate her children's rooms and toy boxes, passing on her artistic talents to her children. As a young girl she started having pen pals and was sending letters around the world meeting people. She cared for her friends with her letters, newspaper clippings, gifts of flowers, plants and handmade treasures. Lynn loved her birds and dogs. She would keep up a chatter with them as she cooked and crafted during each day. Lynn was always positive and saw the light in everyone. She is unique and a loss to the world, things will be darker all round without her. Our loss but heaven's gain. Each of us are blessed to have known and loved her and been loved by her. Lynn is sadly predeceased by her husband, Don Tait and her parents, James and Gladys Dronsfield. She is survived and missed by her children, Heather (nee Tait) (Zico) Pescada and Heath Tait; grandchildren, Decio Pescada and Darion Pescada; brother, Larry (Sam) Dronsfield; nieces, Pammie (Jody) Goffic and Lori (Wes) Cox; many grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews as well as many cousins. A Celebration of Lynn's Life will be held in the spring of 2026 at the Summerland Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to the Canadian Bible Society, 10 Carnforth Road, Toronto, ON, M4A 2S4. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Moog and Friends Hospice House for their care and compassion. To share condolences with the family, please visit
