Margaret WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Margaret Elizabeth: August 8, 1933- May 8, 2022 Margaret Wilson passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Mother's Day, May 8, 2022. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to William & Elizabeth Goodwin. She worked for Canada Post prior to moving to British Columbia in 1957. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will forever be remembered by her daughters; Karon (Rick) Regamble, Margaret Wilson, and Lillian Irwin; son, William Wilson; son in law, Ernie Bortolin; Brissette children: Renee (Nellie) Brissette, Dwight Brissette (Debbie), Ricky Brissette, Diane (John) Riley, Lori Brown (Justin); grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron), Laura (Brad), Michael Bortolin (Dana), Robert Regamble, Pete Wilson, Willie Wilson (Jessica), Taylor Kosowan (Paul), Colby Kosowan (Savanah), Dylan Irwin, Christopher Rodgers (Stefanie), Jamielee Wilson, Nicole Ciforelli (Marc), Jason Wilson (Debbie), Nicholas Wilson (Brodie); 30 great grandchildren; as well as numerous friends and extended family. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Frederick Wilson; daughter, Sharon Bortolin; Terrah Nicol (nee Bortolin); great grandson, Parker Nicol; her partner of 15 years, Cyril Brissette; Debbie French (nee Brissette) and Rocky Brissette. There will be a Celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children's Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
