Marilyn Houston Obituary
Houston, Marilyn "Marley" (nee Miles): Jun 1, 1927 - Jan 14, 2015 On January 14, 2015 Marilyn passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her sons Greg, Kirk, Mark, Dean and daughter Vicki. We all cherish the family memories on Hilliard Street, Preston Avenue and at Waskesiu. She moved to Kelowna in 2000 to finally escape the harsh winters of Saskatoon and Calgary. She had ten grandchildren who were all able to experience the tender loving care she gave each one of them as they came into the world. With the distance between cities three great grandchildren were kept close to her heart across the miles. She also left behind a sister-in-law, Diana, nephew Jay and niece Lindsay with great niece Jayla and great nephew Kingston. Her family was a priority as she created an eternal bond with all those she touched. The light of her constant sacred presence will shine through the Houston's forever.

One and there are many but one stands out, she took me shopping for clothes to go to my Grandfather's funeral, my grandmother was her aunt. It was the early 70's and we ended up with a purple dress and purple suede platform shoes, much to my fathers disproval but it brought light to the church . I dragged those shoes around for years long after I had outgrown them. Love you Marley will miss your laugh.
