Clark, Marjorie Elizabeth: January 1, 1933 - October 30, 2025 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marjorie Elizabeth Clark (nee Bean), who passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years in Penticton, B.C. on October 30, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Don. They were married for 73 of their 77 years together; her sons, Fred and Terry; daughter, Bev; granddaughter, Laura; great-grandson, Samuel; parents, Reginald and May Bean; grandparents, Frederic and Sarah Bean; in-laws, Harold and Viola Clark; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Don Knuff; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Ken Wiltse; and her childhood friend, Gerry. Marjorie will forever be remembered by her daughter, Deborah Harrington (Dallas); sons, Iain Clark, Gordon Clark, and James Clark; sisters, Pat Bean (David Harrington) and Eleanor Gallays (Phil); sister-in-law, Ann Hume (Lyle); 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews from the Clark, Hume, Knuff and Wiltse families. Marjorie would often reminisce about walking along the Kettle Valley Railroad tracks listening to her mother tell her and her sister, Dorothy, to bang their metal buckets together to scare away the bears while they picked berries. She worked at a Donut Shop while attending Penticton High School where she met her husband, Don, and they were married in 1952. She enjoyed and was proud of her seven children. She was a talented seamstress, sewing many clothes and costumes for her large family. She enjoyed cooking and baking and especially making her shortbread and biscuits. She also had so many wonderful Christmases for her much loved and cherished family and friends. The decorating she did of many beautiful birthday cakes over the years is a special memory for her family. Marjorie enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines with her sister, Dorothy. She had a passion for all things Hawaiian, having enjoyed several vacations and cruises there. She was a person of faith and found comfort in its guidance. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and support of her family and friends. An engaging personality and storyteller, always loving, kind, gentle, an attentive listener, a good word, the twinkle and mischief in her eye like her dad, her sincere, warm smile, laughter and humour like her mother and sister. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Ave., Penticton, B.C. A reception will immediately follow the service and a private family interment will take place after that at Lakeview Cemetery. Condolences and tributes may be left for the family by visiting
