Knowles, Pauline Avril: In Loving Memory of Pauline Avril Knowles 1938 - 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Knowles, our beloved wife and mother on December 20, 2025, in West Kelowna, BC. Pauline is survived by her loving husband David; son Mark (Anna); daughter Penny (Warren); grandchildren Justin and Christian; and extended family in Canada and England. Pauline was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England in 1938. She grew up in England and as a young adult met a group of friends - which included the love of her life, and in 1961 she and David were married. They emigrated to Canada in 1969, settling in Port Moody, BC. During those early years in Canada, with a loving wife and young family, David felt he had "gone to heaven". In 1979 the family moved to the Okanagan, and it was here that Pauline really spread her wings. She volunteered with the KGH Auxiliary for over 35 years, and at Westside Care Centre for 15 years. Pauline loved music, flowers, and having her nails done, and she will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. George's Anglican Church, 3690 Brown Road, West Kelowna, BC V4T 1P7.
