Rae LECOMTE Obituary

LECOMTE, Rae Marie Mitchell: August 1, 1972 - March 12, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rae Marie Mitchell Lecomte at the age of 52 on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Born at Burnaby General Hospital on August 1, 1972, Rae Marie was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Rae Marie is survived by her loving mother, Doreen Lecomte, and her stepfather, Albert Lecomte. She will be eternally missed by her beloved fur babies: Cabo, Casey, Bella, Sasha, and Cleo, who were always at the center of her heart. Rae Marie's healing journey led her to become a Master in many healing modalities, including PSYCH-K, where she served as a Preferred Affiliate and Health and Wellbeing Facilitator. She was also a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP) and an Advanced Angel Empowerment Practitioner (AAEP). She dedicated her life to helping others find peace, balance, and healing in their own lives. From a young age, Rae Marie had an extraordinary connection to horses. Her childhood love for these majestic animals blossomed into a lifelong passion as she became a gifted horse whisperer, always understanding and nurturing the spirit of these beautiful creatures. Her love and compassion extended far beyond the animal kingdom. Rae Marie had a remarkable ability to open her heart to anyone in need, taking in every orphaned or stray person and animal she came across, offering a safe haven and unconditional love. Rae Marie's presence was a gift to the world. She was a shining light, radiating love, kindness, and compassion wherever she went. Whether through her work as a healer or in the quiet moments spent with those she cared for, Rae Marie touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark of love and caring in every heart she encountered. While Rae Marie is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever remain with those who loved her. May her light continue to guide us, and may we honor her legacy by living with the same love, compassion, and generosity that she shared so freely. A private Memorial Service will be held for close family andfriends at the Oasis United Church, 2964 Skaha Lake Road, Penticton onSaturday, March 22, 2025, at 2pm. She was such a kind hearted gentle soul. I had the pleasure of getting to know her through the horse community and also through our time at Pen Hi.
