ACKERMANN, Renate Gerda Maria: March 17, 1940 - November 5, 2015. On Thursday, November 5, 2015, Mrs. Renate Gerda Maria Ackermann of Penticton passed away peacefully at Moog & Friends Hospice at the age of 75 years. She was predeceased by her three husbands Roy Gochee, Wilfred Radke and William Ackermann; her parents; two sisters Carla Pivarnyik and Heidi Kitchen. Renate will be fondly remembered by her loving family including children Rita (Cliff) Clark of Winnipeg; Roxanne (Roger) Bilawchuk of Edmonton, Rochelle (Bill) Clayton of Strathmore, AB, Dan (Barb) Radke of Calgary, AB and Juanita (Rob) McConnell of Strathmore, AB; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Christiane Hooper and Angela Morris as well as many extended family and friends. Renate loved to travel and over the years she enjoyed cruises to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal and Europe. She also enjoyed quilting, square dancing, and fishing. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 14th, 2015 at the Oliver United Church followed by a reception in the church lower hall.
