Terry Anderson Obituary
Anderson, Terry William: It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear husband and best friend, Terry Anderson 1946 - 2024. He was a very special man and will be missed by many. Terry was born in Lacombe, Alberta and spent his school years in Central Alberta. After graduation he began his career as a surveyor, and later years in survey management. He worked on many large projects including Mica and Revelstoke, BC Hydro dams; the Hibernia Project in Newfoundland; and large Cable and Suspension bridges in Virginia, California, South Carolina, Florida and Louisiana. After retiring in Kelowna, he enjoyed the game of golf and loved puttering in his shop. He also had an interest in antique cars and owned a Model T Ford truck. Terry is survived by his loving wife Alpha, his sons Darren, David and Mark along with their families. He is also survived by his sisters Frances and Margy and his brother Charles. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Ruth Anderson of Alix, Alberta. Terry made many good friends in his lifetime and will be remembered for his generous spirit and sense of humour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC. Per Terry's wishes, there will be no service.
