Todd Poland Obituary
Todd Clark Poland "Unca", age 23, beloved son to Lance and Andi Bettmann Poland, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 and is at peace. Born in Milford on January 8, 1991, he was a graduate of Foran HS Class of 2009. An avid Dave Matthews Band fan, Todd enjoyed going to concerts with his friends and playing his guitar. He enjoyed watching Breaking Bad and his favorite teams, the Oakland Raiders and the NY Yankees. Spirited, compassionate and caring, he was blessed with a quick wit and sense of humor, and was known for always having a smile on his face. A loving and vibrant son, brother, uncle and friend, his memory will be cherished by all who was privileged to know him. In addition to his loving parents, Lance and Andi, he is survived by his sister, Kelly Rommel (Peter) of Wolcott and Kenneth Poland (Allison) of SC; his precious and treasured nieces and nephews, Peter Lee, Maya, Abby and C.P. (unborn); his best friend Steve Sangapore and many other loving family and friends.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Sunday, July 27th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private. I had Todd as a sixth grader at
HMS. I remember him well. He was a sweet, kind, fun and happy young man. I also remember him being our lead actor in a Greek Skit: he stole the show with his enthusiasm. Sending love and prayers.
