VICKI GAIL HARRIS

HARRIS, VICKI GAIL: (born June 29, 1948)It is with great sadness that we announce Vicki's passing on December 11, 2025 at Summerland Seniors Village at the age of 77 years. Vicki is survived by son, Kelly of Victoria; grandsons, Manny and Noah of Victoria and Iárnan of Ireland; and brother, Randy Tupper (Gale) of Emeryville, ON.Vicki is predeceased by her husband, Barry Ralph and parents, Benjamin and Phyllis Tupper.Vicki joined the RCMP in 1969 and grew into a pivotal role in the office until her retirement in 2005. After Barry's accident, Vicki was the hands to fulfill her husband's projects and ideas. Vicki worked tirelessly with a full-time job and provided the care required to look after her disabled husband and facilitate Barry's projects.After Barry's Passing, Vicki enjoyed time with friends golfing and visiting over coffee. In 2016, Vicki ventured on her first trans-Atlantic trip to Europe to visit her youngest grandson. It was her first true vacation in nearly 30 years and it was fabulous!Vicki lived a selfless life. Vicki was always at the service of others…work, family and friends.In lieu of flowers, tributes may be made in Vicki's name to the BCSPCA (spca.bc.ca).A Celebration of Life will take place for Vicki on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Penticton Golf and Country Club, 600 Comox Street, Penticton, BC.To send condolences please visit www.providencefuneralhomes.com
