William Allan Obituary

Allan, William (Bill) George: Bill was born on May 26th, 1943 in Watrous, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2026 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 82 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marilyn to whom he was married for 51 years; his sons, Carson and Kyle Allan; his sister-in-law, Monica Allan; his niece, Katie along with numerous extended family members and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Ross Allan and by his parents, John and Eleanor Allan. Bill moved to Kelowna, B.C. in 1968 and soon after met the love of his life Marilyn and they were married in 1974. Bill worked for Hiram Walker Distillery for 22 years until its closing. He then went on to work for Western Star Trucks and All-Rite Security until his retirement. Bill loved participating in the many social activities that Hiram Walker offered to their employees over the years and always looked forward to the events hosted by the company. He belonged to the Vernon Prospector's Club and loved travelling and visiting with friends and family. In Bill's younger years, he enjoyed fishing and camping. In respecting Bill's wishes, he was cremated and no funeral service will be held. Cremation arrangements have been made with BETHEL FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD. 5605 27th Street, Vernon, B.C.
