AMANDA WALKER Obituary
Amanda passed away with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the age of 36 years. She bravely fought cancer with grace and dignity. Amanda was a beautiful person who will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 8 years, Jared; their children Tessa and Nathan; her family and many friends. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the U of C and worked at Osler, Harcourt law firm. We remember Amanda's cheerful smile and laughter along with her love of books and being a mom. Amanda leaves behind her parents, Dave & Jackie Dicknoether, brothers Justin and Adam; sister Christa; 3 nieces; Grandma Marty Nicol; in-laws Jeff & Susan Walker; sister-in-laws Ashley & Julie (Brad); as well as 3 nieces. She was predeceased by Grandad Nicol, Grandma & Grandpa Dicknoether and her dog Cleo. A Funeral Mass was Celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Memorial donation may be made directly to the Calgary Health Trust, www.calgaryhealthtrust.ca. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
