Colonel ANGUS Obituary

ANGUS, Colonel Stephen F., CD At Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville surrounded by his family on November 4, 2018 at the age of 85. Survived by Pamela (nee Bolton) his loving wife of 59 years. Much loved father of Helen (Alan Abelsohn), Brian and Gillian (Aslan Motahedin) Stephen will be missed by his three grandchildren: Haley, Laura and Alex Motahedin as well as his sister Bea and his brother John and their families. Stephen was predeceased by his sister Elspeth earlier this year. Stephen will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and dedicated grandfather. His life long commitment to the Black Watch (RHR) of Canada defined his sense of duty and he cherished his ongoing connection to the Regiment and to the city of Montreal where he was born, raised and had deep family roots. Stephen had a highly successful career at Dominion Bridge and made great use of his retirement years founding the Three Creeks Furniture Company with Mike Yates. The family would like to thank Mike for his good hearted companionship and support for Stephen over many decades. We also want to thank Dr. Duncan Bull for his dedicated and compassionate care of Stephen and to the teams at Headwaters and ParaMed for their support as well. A private service for family and friends will be held at All Saints Anglican Church in Erin. A memorial service with the Regiment will be held at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in Montreal at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church in Erin or to a charity of your choice.
