JONES, Donna Marie (n? Davenport) Of Ancaster, died on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She is the cherished wife of David, beloved daughter of Elizabeth and the late Gordon Davenport of Orangeville, and adored daughter-in-law of the late Handel and Madeleine Jones of Sarnia. She is survived by her siblings Patricia (John), Jim (Twila), and Bob; nieces and nephews Kim (Shawn), Steven (Sarah), Kyle (Jen), Ryan, Angie (Erik), Sarah (Chris), Serena (Rob), and Mavis (Rob); great nieces and nephews Gage, Avery, Jacob, Keira, James, Ainsley, Scott, Kaitlin, and Stella; and brother-in-law Ray. Donna received a Bachelor's of Arts degree and a Diploma in Education from Western University. She taught elementary school in Sarnia and then spent several years as a receptionist/secretary with the Brant Board of Education and the Grand Erie District School Board in Brantford. She had a passion for learning which took her on many an Internet journey and she enjoyed reading, travel, theatre, movies, television, and helping to organize a variety of family events. Donna will be remembered as a woman of warmth, sensitivity, and grace. To her relationships she brought a positive attitude and a willingness to go out of her way to help others. She always seemed to know when someone needed an encouraging word or smile. And she was a master problem solver. Donna was dedicated to the members of our family, all of whom benefited from her generosity, her kindness, and her wisdom. She will be profoundly missed by all of us. There will be a Private Interment ceremony for family on Saturday, April 21, 2018. A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Monora Park Pavilion in Orangeville.
