John Joseph Dunford

Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Linda Berg-Dunford. Dear father of Wade (Celeste), John (Christine), Allan (Corina). Cherished grandfather of Harrison, Makenzie, Kylie, Jarrett, Hayden, Monique, Rebecca and Kurtis. Remembered by his siblings Belle, Freeman (Delores), Sharon, Terry (Marilyn). Predeceased by his brothers Morley and Aubrey. Missed by his sister-in-law Jessie and also by Laura Dunford. John will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends both in Newfoundland and Ontario. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St, Orangeville on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Alzheimer's Society of Peel, Mayfield United Church or the Zion United Church - Burin NFLD. would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
