In Loving Memory of Peggy (Margaret) Monks Dafoe nee Sheridan, cherished wife, beloved mother, proud grandmother/great grandmother and dear friend, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lusk, County Dublin, Ireland on November 12-1933. Mom was predeceased by her husband Chris, her grandson Jamie and her son-in-law Marshall, her numerous family in Ireland, and her second husband Clarence. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family Margaret and Ed Hatch (Kevin/Heather and Blaine/Breanne), Patricia Ritchie (Kristina/Todd and Darby/Louise), Eileen and Harley Camsell (Harley Jr/Rachelle), Christopher Monks (Wendy/Wade, Trevor/Jodi and Sharlene/Joel), Frances and Stan Johnson (Laurie/Toby and Jillian/Abe), Maureen Howell (Roy/Dawn and Kathleen/David), Ita and Paul (Dylan/Sabrina and David) Monica and Warren (Warren/Vanessa and Amy) and Phyllis and Ken Jensen (Jesse/Brittany and Chelsea) and her treasured 25 great-grandchildren.
A viewing was held on March 7, 2026, from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at Shell Lake School with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Peggy's finial resting place will be at the Shell Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Shell Lake Catholic Church (Our Lady of Smiles), Spruce Manor Home - Dalmeny, or the
Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
Peggy's kindness, feisty spirit, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
