July 14, 1952 - May 28, 2021
Sadly, Brian passed away at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the age of 68. When he was younger, Brian enjoyed hiking and camping in Algonquin Park. He was an avid reader with an eclectic taste in books and a die-hard fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a prolific poet with many of his poems published in newspapers and anthologies in both Canada and the United States.
Brian will be missed by his sister, Marilyn (Wood) Chapman, his nieces, and his nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret Wood of Rosseau, and his brother-in-law Ronald Chapman of Pickering.
Brian wanted cremation, followed by a simple, family graveside service at Rosseau and Humphrey Union Cemetery. Date to be determined.
