Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Age 79 years.
Son of the late Vernon McWhirter, Olive MacWhirter (Milligan) and beloved husband of the late Rita McWhirter (Pender).
Loving father of Greg and his wife Tamara; Terry-Lynn and her partner Andy; Tim and his wife Paige. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Casey, Paighton, Quinn, Sydney, and James. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends especially his furry companion Jake.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound).
Celebration of life and interment at Hillcrest Cemetery to take place at a later date.
