Erhard MUELLER Obituary
February 10, 1933 - October 8, 2022
Erhard Mueller, widowed husband and best friend of Irmgard Mueller for 66 years, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his closest family on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at the West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC). Erhard was 89 years old. He will be greatly missed by his son Achim (AJ), his daughter-in-law Kerry (nee Ryan), granddaughters Dr. Carmen Mueller and Corrie Mueller and their respective husbands Andrew Roszko and Roger Artinoff, his great-grandchildren Jackson, Clara and Max, extended family, friends and his beloved border collie Sandie. Erhard and Irmgard spent their life together operating florist, landscaping, nursery and game bird businesses, first in Germany and then in southern Ontario. After their retirement they finally fulfilled their dream of living in northern Ontario and bought their country retreat by Rousseau in 2003. Over time they rewilded the land and created habitat to attract species like swallows, blue birds, bobolinks, sandhill cranes, monarch butterflies and more. Erhard was a nature loving outdoorsman and together with Irmgard enjoyed long walks with Sandie over groomed paths through their fields and maple forest. A special thank you by Erhard and by the family is extended to the palliative care staff at the WPSHC staff for their compassion, kindness and excellent care of Erhard. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home in Parry Sound. If desired, donations to the Palliative Care Ward of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
