It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Remi LeBlanc (Remi Eugere LeBlanc) on March 24, 2023 at home with his wife at his side, at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Claire, along with their two daughters Eileen Robitaille and Elaine Putnam, two son in-laws Michael Robitaille and Michael Putnam, 4 grandchildren Shayne Robitaille, Bryce Robitaille, Michelle Putnam, Jason Putnam and one granddaughter in-law Heleena Juneau-Taylor, one great granddaughter Mila Robitaille and three step great grandchildren London, Mason, and Addison. Survived by his sisters and brothers Rosita Dalton, Julie Gregoire, Ted LeBlanc, and Joe LeBlanc, predeceased by Vic LeBlanc, Phil LeBlanc, and Edward LeBlanc, he will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Remi's greatest love besides Claire would be life on Georgian Bay and specifically the Sans Souci area, as Remi would say "I am the self-proclaimed mayor of Sans Souci." He lived, worked, and died in the place he loved most in the world. Remi will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration in honour of Remi's life and a life well lived, was held Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 52 Church Street, Parry Sound.
