TESSIER, Robert ""Bob"" of Huntsville, formerly of Burk's Falls April 7, 1938 - December 15, 2016 Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Bob Tessier, beloved husband of Harriet (nee Quan), was in his 79th year. Dear father of Robert, Shirley, Kathy (Mark) and Tony (Daphne). Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Stephanie, Bobby (Jody), Jessica, Heather, Evan, Kathryn, Zachery, Malik and Adam. Beloved son of the late Alfred and Laura Tessier. Bob is survived by his sisters Louise, Lucille, Aline, predeceased by Pauline, Luciene, Jeannine and Therese and is the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, a Charter Member with both Huntsville and Burk's Falls Councils and past Grand Knight. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Algonquin Grace Hospice for their loving care and compassion and a special thanks to Dr. Stewart for taking care of Bobby boy. The family received visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel , 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 3 to 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Monday evening. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated in the Church of the Holy Spirit commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 with Father Theodore Nnorom officiating.
