We thought the world of Al. Wouldn't have anyone else take down our trees or advise us on what to do with ones we were unsure of. Wonderful man, our heart goes out to his family.

We enjoyed Al's company out at Goose Lake over the Summers that Al would come out to take care of the trees in the Hamlet.
He was indeed a master of his craft and was extremely good at what he did.
Everyone who got to meet him and watch him at work, truly respected his skill and abilities. He could out work many a younger man for sure :).
We enjoyed sharing his company and stories and he will be missed.
Our condolences to Al's family.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Al’s passing. I always looked forward to His annual visit to Goose Lake, and his expertise and skill in dealing with my trees. The whole Goose Lake gang will miss him. Al was a very interesting man and I always enjoyed our long chats. He became a good friend over the eight or so years he has been coming to Alberta. When he left this summer I told him to slow down he’s working too darn hard!
Debbie and I wish you our sincere condolences Kathy and family. Rest In Peace Alyou are missed by many, you were one of a kind my friend.

Oh Al, you beautiful man. I will never forget the kindnesses you showed to Russel. I know you are both chatting about it now as I write this. Each day I will look out and see my trees and think of you and your friends as they came and helped after Russ left us. Rest in absolute peace. To your family and friends, I am sorry for your broken hearts. So many will miss him.

My deepest sympathy Kathy & family on the passing of Al . We enjoyed his stories when he stopped in at CCC #4 bringing with him the smell of coffee , cigarettes and fresh cut wood . He is now enjoying that big campfire with Russell , Merv & Keith telling his stories ❤ Treasure the memories and know Al was like watching a ballet dancer when he cut down a tree .

Dear Kathy. Art and I send you our sincere condolences to you for loss of your husband and soulmate, Al. He was very personable and he treated us well over the years. He was an excellent hazardous tree faller, as we learned from the times he did work for us. Very professional and skilled. A real pro! Thinking of you, Kathy, during this sad, sad time.

We’re very sad to learn about Al’s passing. He did such great work for us on many occasions taking down dangerous trees on our acreage. Al was efficient, knowledgeable & always safety conscious, a total pro.
We referred him to many friends who were so pleased with Al too.
