Alex Morris Obituary

Morris, William Alexander April 1, 1952 - February 7, 2016 It is with heavy hearts we announce that Alex Morris passed away at the Campbell River General Hospital. Alex was part of the third generation of the Morris family in Prince George. Alex grew up in Prince George with his family and later he lived for much of his adult life in Wuikinuxv, located at the head waters of Rivers Inlet BC. He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Louisa and his parents Iris and Andy N. Morris. He will be deeply missed by his family Shirlely, Donovan and Kyle LeBlond (Campbell River), Jennifer Walkus (Wuikinuxv) and Cherlyn Walkus (Wuikinuxv) his sisters Carol & Rick deGans (Prince George), Christina & Glenn Johnson (Trail), his brother Andrew Morris (Victoria) and his nephews Jordan, Ryan, Tony, Bill and Tim. Alex was probably happiest after a days work running his store then sitting outside with his wife Louisa absorbing the beauty of the mountains and water surrounding his home, often with a cold beer in his hand. He was loved by many and will be remembered by friends from around the province and the world. Services have been arranged in Campbell River and ceremony as planned by Alex and Louisa will take place in Wuikinuxv.

I have great memories of Alex from our CNC days. It was a fun time of life and Alex was always smiling.

To say Alex was one of a kind really doesn't capture who he was at all. Truly a free spirit who impacted everyone he met. He was my friend and I will miss, but surely, never forget him.
