Anne Mathie Obituary

Anne Hazel Mathie Passed away on August 1, 2017, at the Boundary Hospital in Grand Forks, BC. Born in Calgary in 1943, Anne is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Aileen Baker. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Mathie, and the children and grandchildren from their combined families-Jenny (Duane) Rankin, and Morgan and Callie Swan; Elizabeth (Michel) Rankin, and Kiera, Samara and Jordie Miller; Brent (Vonnie) Mathie, and Sabrina and Bianca; and Tammy (Larry) McArthur and Brandon. Anne is also survived by her sisters, Kathie Mikkelsen and Barbara (Tony) Klymchuk; brother, Bill (Linda) Baker; and her six nieces and nephews-Kaila, Kai, Matthew, Meghan, Lauren and Michael. Anne worked as a School District 57 secretary in Prince George for over 30 years. She always enjoyed a good book and passed this love of reading on to her family. Anne also liked sewing, gardening, travelling and camping, and she always had a kind heart for her pets. She will truly be missed.
