Bud Walker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of longtime Prince George resident, Bud Walker, in Penticton, B.C. on September 23 after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Bud is predeceased by his grandson Jacob and his stepsons Jeff Thomson and Darren Fournier, as well as all of his siblings and his best buddy Wayne Waddell. He is survived by his wife Joyce, his ex-wife Jeannine, his children Sheree (Eric) Hunter, Suzanne (Dennis) van Diepen, Michael Walker, Brian (Sheila) Walker and Charlene (Jhon) Waterman and step children Kalista (Danny) O'Grady, Lorie Derksen, Rod Greenley, Debbie (Bill) Fournier and Cheryl (Gerald) Berube as well as grandchildren Richard, Lindsay, Jehn, Devon, Maigan, Amanda, Joe and Tara, step grandchildren Josh, Andy, Eric, Nathan, Nolan, Kristina, Patricia, Katrina, Kimberly and Keri and great grandchildren Fox, Ella, Xander, Jade, Dakota, Jakob and Luka. A celebration of Bud's life will be held at the Prince George Legion branch 43 on October 21, 2017 at 1 pm.
