Darryle Plato Obituary

Darryle Cameron Plato July 24th, 1967 - February 10th, 2019 It is with sad hearts the family announces Darryle passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at the Hospice House after a year long battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 23 years Lisa, his daughters Paige and Jaycee, parents Vern and Dorothy Plato, brothers Rod(Nola) and Mike (Lorena)and cousin Vern(Kim), with whom he had a special friendship. He had many other extended family members and close friends who will miss him. Darryle was a loving husband, Dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to quad, fish, camp, and was happiest around a fire in his back yard listening to music, or on a beach in Mexico. He was always thinking of his family and worked hard to provide a good life for them. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a good Dad to his daughters, he was so very proud of them both. Taken far too soon, loved by so many. A celebration of life will be held in May. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request donations be made to the Hospice Society of Prince George.

Lisa & Girls, We are So Sorry to learn of the Passing of Darryle. As neighbours we didn't know Darryle on a personal level except for the odd chat or a wave as he drove by when we were outside. We often heard the crackle of the camp fires, the music and laughter and we Pray these Good Memory's Help You in Your time of Sorrow. If we can be of Any Help we are only two doors too your left. Lisa , Paige and Jaycee ❤
It is with great sadness to hear the loss of Darryle . Darryle was a good man , always trying hard , A good quality Darryle had was being very attentive , School functions, Sports Day , school concerts etc.... I will always appreciate and remember the fun time we had camping at Saint Marie lake , Darryle had his quad up and running for fun rides , Fishing off the shoreline and best of all the campfires . I do believe he was the one who taught me how to chop wood that weekend
Darryle was a very active dad , taking his girls on the back of his 4 wheeler , yep the poker run Jaycee and dad PG snowmobile club , I do believe that was every year . Family came first ! I also remember him planning a surprise birthday party, and anniversary dinner for Lisa , he wanted it to be just so , A lot of effort ....making her day a special one . Darryle you were loyal , you loved and cherished your special Girls through the good times and the bad .
It is so heartbreaking that a young loving husband , caring father's life had to end . .
Lisa anyone who knows you , knows that you are a very Strong Independent woman , a woman , who in the hard , excruciating, tough times, keeps on trudging . Trudging one foot in front of the other, in the deep mud never ever giving up !!! BUT also on hearing of a friend's or love ones Trials or tribulations Lisa despite what you are going through, you always make the time and effort to reach out, helping, always there , LOYAL to your friends and family ❤❤
With deep sadness and sympathy, Brenda Johnson McCoy.
