My condolences to Dave's family. As a member of the Westwood Staff, I always found him to be a pleasant and fair-minded person; one who always wanted the best for his students.
I am hoping that his retirement years were everything that he wished them to be.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked in his classroom at Westwood for a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great sense of humour he had. When anyone "lost" their work on a computer his famous saying was, "Did you learn anything about saving?". He thought that was a great joke but the receiving party didn't always see his point of view. A great loss.
