David Ceaser Obituary

David Hugh Ceaser Dec 07, 1948 â€" May 01, 2011 David and Joan were married October 12, 1968 in the sight of God to love, honour and cherish one another ‘til death they do part. Through many tribulations in life, David honoured those vows. He is now residing with the Lord, where he'll wait for Joan until they are once again reunited. David leaves behind a loving wife, three children, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Loyal son Mark (Carla) their children Aidan, Elora, Carter and Malcolm. Cherished daughter Susan (Mike) their children Miranda (Tyler), Grace, Frances and Jaime. Chosen daughter Karin (Brenton) their children Hailea and Talon. Great-grandchildren Caelyn, Jaron and Benjamin. David is predeceased by his parents, George and Nellie Ceaser and his brother Lloyd Ceaser. David's sister Rose (Bob) Brown and sister in law Linda Ceaser mourn his loss. Much loved in-laws Ben and Marie Primus. Anyone who knows the Primus family knows the multitude of descendants of Ben and Marie. Larry (Georgia), Doug (Sharon), Allan (Martha), Rick, Dale (Chris), Frank, Romay (Lynn), Greg (Bev), Corey, Diane (Werner) Schlachter and Beth (Dale) Lazar. David was a long time owner of Sunshine Press. He was very active in the West Lake Community, BC Snowmobile Club and an avid golfer. Thank you to Dr. Javed for all his compassion and care. A special thank you to our fabulous Home Care Nurses, Cathy and Lenore. Although the Cancer Clinic isn't a place anyone would want to be, the family (of staff) we inherited there was incredible. The care they showed was exceptional. There are many worthy causes out there but what we found in the Hospice House is beyond words. If ever you want to donate your time or monetary gift this would be a worthy cause. May God bless each of you who touched our lives. There will be no service, as per David's request.

He will now be busy with Aunt Mary, Uncle Pete and my Mom (just to mention a few). They will have him playing cards in no time! My love and prayers go out to you. Betty Marston

David was a firm supporter of the annual CANDO social event for persons with a disability. Every year since 1998, he would donate the free tickets to persons with a disability so they could attend the event. He will be sadly missed by our community.

Dave was more then a boss,he was my friend. I will miss the chats we had about the trails in and around PG. Your love for being outdoors and enjoying God's glorious creations was incredible. If the world could only slow down and see what you have seen, it would be a better place to live. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Joan, Susan and Mark, I morn with you in the loss of Dave. Until we see Dave again.... May the light from Heaven always shine upon us now and forever Amen.
